Hi Jeff
Fault code P0456 means evaporator emission control small leak detected.
you need to check the tank filling cap, evaporator valve, hoses and connection for leak.
Good Luck
A fluid leak that is pink and/or red colored is usually either power steering fluid or transmission fluid. I recommend checking both. You can check the power steering fluid when the car is off. However, the transmission fluid should be checked with the engine warm and idling in neutral. Have someone else step on the brake or use the parking brake and block the wheels while you're measuring the transmission fluid level.
Yes, sorry, that's what I meant. When you have a rear heater system, they usually incorporate (use) another heater core, similar to one under dash for heat, in rear . I'm thinking you have Pink type antifreeze in your radiator & cooling system return bottle, and that's what feeds that heater core in rear as well as front, for heat. It's usually located behind the rear side panel in back of the Suburban. Better check your coolant level in engine too, it is probably going down, as much as your leaking, and you don't want to cook the engine.
