Question about 2002 Toyota Highlander
I'm assuming that your car keep stalls... check for vacuum leaks and the IAC (idle air
control) valve your problem is sounds like it is malfunctioning. Also, scan the power control module for fault codes
(the module controls
all the transmission functions). In addition, check speedometer sensor
operation and check for a partially plugged catalytic converter.
If you find code P015 there, this indicates a failed vehicle speed sensor. This would account for your speedometer and your transmission not working properly. Replacing it should fix your problem. Recheck and clear codes.
