Question about Chevrolet Blazer
It will cause a slight gas mileage difference, not much. The smell of gas is the problem, if it can't hold in the emissions then it's like riding behind a older car with that strong gas smell. It will eventually give you a check engine light which is not a worry, this is because the converter can't do it's job, so then the O2 sensors will not function correctly. They do make a universal replacement and should be installed at a local muffler shop. If money is a issue, then I would drive the car like it is, it will not hurt or cause the car to stall. The only thing to worry about is one getting stopped up causing back pressure to the engine.
