SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Where can I download, preferably for free,a 2008 VW Passat Owners Manual?

I wish I could be more help, but I really don't think you are going to find a "FREE" download for Volkswagen. There used to be a couple of sites where you could download PDF Volkswagen stuff, but ALL of them have been shut down! Undoubtedly, prosecuted by Volkswagen for copyright infringement. The official VW site does not even have downloads for owner's manuals. They do have a place where you can order an"Owner's Manual Kit". Click Here. The cost is about $65. VW has been very tight on releasing information on their products lately. The days where information and parts were easy to get for a Beetle are over. "Volks Wagen" litterally translates in english to "Car for the people". The VW beetle was actually commissioned by Adolph ****. He wanted a production vehicle that the ordinary citizens could afford to drive and maintain. He wanted it kept simple with lots of parts availability and easy to operate. VolksWagen is exactly the opposite of that now. They are priced much higher than comparable models. They are priced way too high for the average citizen. They are extremely hard to get technical information on, you have to be a computer scientist to figure out all the bells, whistles, and controlls and the availability of most of the parts is limited to the dealer. That is why most mechanics will not work on them. I used to own a 1963 Beetle. It was probably the easiest car in the world to work on. You could get parts for them anywhere. They came with a small tool pouch. The entire car could be disassembled and repaired with the tools that came with the car. Those days are long gone and in my opinion, VW no longer stands for "Volks Wagen"! Only the Very Wealthy can afford them.

Need code for radio in a 1998 VW Beetle. Have VIN# an radio serial #. Any help will be appreciated.

You will need to inquire from the VW Servive Center. The Dealer is one of the few people that can call in and get the radio code.

First check your Owner's Manual in case a prior owner wrote it down insed the manual. Also look for a sticker inside the spare tire wheel well. For some model years VW placed the code on a sticker and then put it in that location. My daughter has a 98 VW Beetle and we had to inquire of the Service Department. They didn't charge us to obtain the code, and it took less than 5 minutes to obtain.
