Question about 2000 Ford Focus
On my Ford Focus 2000, 1.8 lx, I can lower or raise the passenger's window using the switch on the driver's side, but when using the switch on the passenger's side, the window will not move.
Power windows systems in the Ford lines (I assume others as well) have a lock so windows can only be opened by the driver. Be sure this is in the unlock position.

You can get a wiring diagram and tests light and test the circuits. Or just change the switchs the problem could be in a either switch. Also with the doors opened wiggle the wires going from the doors to the body while pushing on the switch. You may have a broken wire in this area or bad connection. Hope it works out.
