Installed New rotors, calibers and brake pads on the front and back brakes bled the air from the master cylinder and each brake per instructions in the. Haynes manual and the front brakes still lock up...

Sounds like your master cylinder is not working properly, so you may have to replace it as there does not seem to be the correct amount of brake pressure that gets to the rear brakes. Are your rear calipers or brakes seized, to they move freely. Is the parking brake cable seized and causing the rear brakes to not function properly. Lots of thing it could be.

Rear end went out on 2000 tundra need instructions how to install it

Block the front tires, jack up the rear end. Remove driveshaft from rear end. Loosen but do not remove the leaf springs and the shock absorbers. Remove the brake lines and the emergency brake cable. Return vehicle to ground and finish removing the leaf springs and the shock absorbers. The vehicle will have to be slightly raised to do this. The other option is to replace the ring and pinion as a unit which requires a completely different set of instructions. What will you be doing, replacing the entire axle and housing or just the ring and pinion?

I am replacing right rear wheel assembly (pads not drums) on 2004 pacifica. I have removed everthing but don't no how to loosen the brake cable from rear knuckle. instructions great pics better?

I generally use a pair of side cuts to loosen tension on the spring and it will come out of the socket. If it doesn't NEED to come off, leave it. Sometimes it can stay attached with little to no problems.

I have a BMW 520i 1992 car .. and here is the problem : it happens when I push the brake pedal .. I feel like something is knocking under my foot .. and sometimes the rear wheels brakes catch unexpectly...

Hi, what you feel is your anti-lock brake actuator pumping the brakes. This is probably due to dirty/dusty or improperly adjusted brake shoes causing the rear brakes to lock. It is also possible that you have a leak in one or both rear brake cylinders. Have your rear brakes checked, cleaned, and adjusted. If you would like to do it yourself, I can provide instructions--just let me know.

Need to replace brakes on 2000 GMC Safari. does it have disc brakes all around or drum rakse in rear?

Disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Make sure that you repack the front bearing's with wheel grease before finishing the job.If the front rotors and or the rear drums have a rough brake pad surface, get them resurfaced before installing new brake pads or brake shoes in the rear. you can go online or your public library for complete instructions on how to replace the brakes on that vehicle.

Emerg. Brake Drum Removel on E450 .

The park/emerg. brakes should be integrated with the rear brake rotors. To replace them involves removing the calipers and brackets. You should be able to slide the rotors off. You may have to back the park brake shoes off with the shoe adjusters to remove the rotors due to the rust lip that often develops within, but they should slide off once freed. Hope this helps.
