The front seat in the impala does not have front bolts...there are 2 bolts in the back..remove then pull back on the seat and lift out !

Hello there:
front seat removal is easy you will more than likely need a tourqs bit for the bolts under the seat if you look in the front you will find two bolts remove them and then go to the back there will be two bolts there to remove them and lift the seat out after disconnecting the wiring from the harness hope this helps you out sincerely D.Jones

Sunroof in 2002 Chevy Impala won't close, is there

Sorry, no. Pull down on the headliner at the front of the window and you can see the motor. Cable is most likely broke or motor bad. Remove all the columns front, middle, and back. Remove the headliner. Then you can access the motor and regulator for the sunroof. The columns and headliner just pop off.

The driver side power seat button moves forward and backward and reclines, but wont move up or down, the seat is stuck all the way down so i cant get to the wrom gear underneath, how do i go about raising...

I am working on a replacement motor that will come with a new gear/shaft on it. I have one of my setups in the car right now and have the parts for another one ordered. I hope to make a video of the repair in a couple weeks when the parts show up. Still uses plastic gears, but these are larger, more durable gears and the swap is fairly straight forward with just a few modifications.

2002 buick park avenue power drivers seat won't go up or down

The most common problem is the gear breaking under the seat. There is one motor to make the front go up and down and one motor to make the back go up and down. The front up/down motor is the easier one to replace. I have a video of one way to fix the up/down motors. I demo the back motor. My windows will not go up or down and it makes a humming/buzzing sound. This is for my 2002 chevy impala. I was told it was the Power Window Master switch control, so we ordered that, the window still...

It can be window motor. All the windows have their separate motor. Before ordering the motor, check with any of the other motor first. If the motor gets weak. Then it will make such noises while moving the window up or down.If switch i replaced, then most probably its faulty motor. ------------------ Hope this helps.Thank you.

Drivers side power seat will not move. You hear the motor and seat tries to move but is stuck. How do you free the seat? Did not see any obstructions under seat.

The plastic gears in the motor break off a couple teeth. Dealer will try to sell you a new rack. You can also replace the motors and shafts, or you can replace just the gears. I just got done replacing one shaft and have the other one ordered. This seems to be the cheapest option.

Right power seat will not lower

You need a new seat track. The motor is binding, and needs to be replaced.
