The drainage tube for the evaporator case is plugged causing the the condensation to drain inside instead of outside the car. The car will probably need to be lifted to find the drainage tube. Use a pick to gently remove the debris blocking the tube. You must be very careful as not to puncture the evaporator core.

The drainage tube for your evaporator core case has become clogged. it is accesable from underneath the car. it comes out from the bottom of the firewall, sort of around the passenger foot area. you can use a coat hanger to try and clear the blockage. do not be too forceful, you do not want to damage the tube or the evaporator. good luck!

Sounds like a drain tube is clogged or disconnected. To quickly remove clog jack up car, or use ramps and put suction on the drain tubes on both sides of the transmission for condensation. that should clear any leak. If its disconnected it will make a sucking sound inside your car where the tube has fallen off/apart.

Water leaks on the passenger side carpet when i run the air for an extented time on my 04 gmc envoy

The evaporator for the air conditioning is under the dash on the passenger side. Open the hood and look on the firewall for a rubber hose that sticks out of the firewall. This hose is to allow the water to run outside and onto the ground. Sometimes they plug up and the water can't get out so it builds up and drains onto the floorboard. Hope this helps...

Water leaking under the dash

If on the passenger side when the air conditioning has been running, most likely a clogged air conditioning drain hose. You can located it by reaching under the dash in the passenger foot well. I have cleaned mine by removing the end of the hose from the firewall grommet and inserting a wire in the hose to clear the clog, then used a shop vac to **** out the debris through the hose. I did this several times. Take a container to catch the water as once you clear the clog the water will come running out all over your head.

Its leaking under the dash on the passenger side when the ac is on, it feels like condensation from something under the dash but its alot and is soaking the floor of the front passenger floor

The water is probably coming from the air conditioner. Check the air-conditioning box or ductwork that surrounds the evaporator. There should be a drain hole in the bottom for the water to escape to the outside of the car. The drain hole may be plugged or the ductwork cracked or broken.

Also, this video can help as a reference guide...

Hope this help.

Where is the fuel filter located on 98 Foed Escort? Where is the drain hole located because I'm getting water on the inside of the car from under the dashboard?

you can find fuel filters near fuel tank under car or close to the carberator under bonnet. Sometimes the easy way to find is to start where fuel enters engine and carefully follow it backwards.Hope this helps.Good luck.

2006 hummer h3 has a leak on passenger side under the dash during a rain storm

My 06 was leaking during rain also. It turned out to be the sunroof. There are two drain tubes in the front of the sunroof that run the water down the corners to the ground and two drain tubes that drain water out the back corners. The water would seep around the glass, which is expected, but both of the tubes on the front of mine were plugged, and the water would overflow behind the dash and fill my floorboards. If my H3 was leaning to the left during a storm then the drivers side would be full of water. If leaning right, then the passenger side. I had to open sunroof and blow compressed air into the drain holes to clear them, but be careful, too much air will separate tubes from sunroof and then you will have to remove the inside paneling around sunroof to get to tubes and reconnect. You may only have one side plugged. you can test it by opening sunroof and pour a little water in the small catch pan in the front of the sunroof and see if it drains as expected (to the ground under the firewall on left AND right side). You can see the holes in each corner of catch pan to drain the water. Plug one with your finger, then the other to find the plugged side. Good luck!! Hope this helps!!

Mazda Tribute. Water leak under driver's feet. Had similar leak on passenger's side and it was the air-conditioning. Could this be the same?

Generally, water on the passenger side is the A/C drain tube.
Driver side generally means widshield or sun roof seal leak.
Did you wash the Mazda or did it rain prior to puddling?
Before disassembling the windshield seal, test ... with a water hose (Remove floormat and place a towel on newspapers on the driver's side floor).
There is a "smoke" test" that can more accurately find the leak. See if you local AutoZone will rent one (maybe free) to you.
