The seat switch has a memory switch that also memorizes the location of the mirror settings too. Set the mirrors the way you want them and the seat as well. Depress the set button and hold for 10 seconds to employe the new setting

How do you change the driver name and memory for seat and mirror adjustment on a 1997 buick park avenue ultra

I am not sure about changing the name as my 2000 park ave. only indicates driver one or driver two. To reset the memory for seat/ mirror position is rather simple: with the ignition on and the car in park, adjust your seat and mirrors to the desired position. Then press and hold the desired button (driver one or two) until you hear a beep, This is the procedure that works on my 2000 park ave. I hope this helps you.

Just bought a 2002 GMC, Envoy and the driver seat and the exterior mirrors keep resetting everytime I start up. What can this be? Thank you

well some newer trucks and cars has the 'his and hers' setting there should be 3 buttons somewhere a '1' and a '2' and a 'set' button you would set everything the way you like including radio stations then push the set button then the '1' button setting your preferences. then whoever else might drive the truck would use the '2' button.

Electric mirrors on my Amanti not staying fixed when set after cutting engine off

I've noticed a similar problem. Try manually setting the mirrors and seat and then set them as setting one or two on the memory. When you get out, hit the lock button on the key-less remote (in lieu of the lock button on the door) and see if that locks them in for you.
