1. Check engiune light comes on when I arrive at a certain speed when accelerating on the interstate. Light goes off when I turn off the vehicle. 2. Vehicle cuts off when I stop or slow down at a light....

from what is sounds like you may have a dirty mass air flow sensor, take it off and clean it out, you can test it first by just unplugging it with the motor running and listrening to the difference in performance

Starts fine but when switched off will not start for 10 mins or so, cranks over but does not fire[94 4.0 jeep cherokee]

You are probably unaware that your jeep has an aftermarket keyless entry system....Try this....roll down the drivers window....push the power door lock......get out/close the door...and attempt to open the door as u normally would.......it should be locked...... use your key to unlock the door....get in.....insert the key into the ignition and turn it to on...((((DON"T TRY 2 START IT UN TILL THE WARNING BELL STOPS DINGING & ALL THE DASH WARNING LIGHTS ARE OUT)))...........usually 5 dinging sounds.......at any rate just wait untill the sounds stops and fire up your jeep.....i hope this works for ya.....good luck

Check Engine Light illuminated

The most likely problem is the crank sensor , as far as check eng light find out what code it is that might help. Codes on little code readers are sometimes just a general discripition that could even lead you in the wrong direction. most of the time the fuel system does not trip the light. so rule that out for your question, not to many sensors will stop the motor that leaves the crank sensor which is a jeep night mare they always go out. it will be located in the top of the bell housing where the eng and trans go together. on the 6 cyl you can most of the time lean over the engine and see it. it will have one small bolt holding it in and then the little wire harness to unplug.

2002 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 When Driving the Engine Dies

You need to do a code check. if no codes, check fuel supply (pump and filter) Quick way to isolate problem to either fuel or spark is to spray carb cleaner into intake while cranking. If engine starts, then it's fuel...If not, then I'd suspect spark...common problem there is crank sensor, but don't replace it without testing first!!!

battery needs charged/replaced....charging system needs tested... and you may have had this all caused by a parasitic leak ( electrical draw/drain) that needs to be found
