1.) key code retrieval is only available electronically through a professional scanner
2.) depends on what you want to "tap"
most aftermarket systems are NOT designed to tap into the factory system and instead work independent to OEM
3.) If you have aluminum rims rust should not be the issue but instead corrosion.... once corrosion has started NOTHING will stop it with out complete stripping, sanding and re-polishing of the rim
There are a lot of specialty shops that specialize in this trade but will cost you $50+/rim and you can usually get some nice replacements for a few dollars more
