I need to replace the window hinge on my 2004 mercury mountaineer

At a point in time, Ford had a recall on some rear hinges. I don't remember which years were involved but if you let a Ford Dealer run your Vin# you may get free fix for your problem.

Please rate my info.

I have a 2004 mercury mountaineer the windows will not roll up or roll down, and the radio does not work is it a fuse?

A bad fuse is Highly possible the cause. The mountaineer has a Main fuse box under the hood that contains Master fuses that control multiole items with one fuse. There is also a smaller fuse panel under the dash conatining fuses for various items throughout the vehicle.

Where can I find a fuse box layout for a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer?

I would buy an owners manual for all your vehicles

For a Ford Product--Helm.com

With that you will find bulbs/lamps,fuses,check
light issues etc.

Has there been a recall for cracked tail gates

Not officially, but Ford/Mercury is aware of the problem, and there's a "silent recall." We had the same problem last year, discussed it with a service advisor at our Mercury dealer, and received a new piece at no cost.

Clicking noise when car is running 2004 mercury mountaineer

If your engine has the letters DOHC on the manifold, contact your dealer with your VIN#. If the sound disappears when the rpm approaches 2000 its the CAM PHASERS. The engines need the factory oil and filter and the cam parts can mess up without them. There is a recall with year and mileage limits.
