How do I bleed the brakes on a 2009 Pontiac G6?

when replacing the brakes you usually dont bleed the system ---usually bleed system when air gets in from like changing a line master cylinder or caliper-- and or master is empty .but to bleed you start at passenger rear first than drivers side rear,up to passenger side front ending at drivers side front

XL7 has a clicking scraping noise on drivers side in reverse only. Have checked brakes and they look ok. When I put on jacks with the hub off and turn by hand I can still hear the clicking grinding

Where is the noise? Front or back? At the brake or differential? Usually grinding and clicking is the rear brake drums. Brake shoes/hardware. Year, make, and model?

When I apply the brakes in my 2003 vw passatt, 1.8L turbo 5speed, its a rough grinding sound so loud it makes me cringe. I assume its the back brakes and motors because that is where the sound comes from...

Get the brakes and a service manual and do it yourself. You'll need a basic wrench set (metric), a strong 'C' clamp, and of course, the brake pads. The pads will run about $50 to do the whole cars. Visit your local Auto parts store for more info.

Grinding of front brakes on a 98 Ford escort. What does it mean and what is the cost for the possible repairs

You need a front brake job based on what your discription.
The grinding noise indicates you've worn through the pads and more than likley have damaged the rotors.
It will run approx. $250.00 to have it done by a professional, or do it yourself in the $100.00 range.

Metal grinding around the front driver area under my feet. then the brake went to the floor. What could be wrong?

Get yourself to the brake shop today! Your brakes are dangerously worn out. It might be better to be towed to your favorite garage.

I'm sorry you are finding out about brakes in this manner. Please, get them repaired. If you are in North America, expect to pay $500.00 for a complete repair of the front brakes.

Gear grinding noise when brakes are applied

I'm guessing you DID resurface the rotors or replaced them? On the bearing make sure it is not overtightened. With the car lifted can you turn by hand and listen?
Not positive about brakes I've always understood they bleed like regular brakes but I would consult a repair manual or dealer (just ask service advisor) Good luck!
