I have a rear drivers side bent axle on a 2006 f250 is it possible to replace the axle shaft or do I need to replace whole rear axle

Best to replace the whole; although just replacing the axle shaft can be the solution, but risky.

Tri-pot joint housing stuck on driver side of 2000 chrysler 300 m while removing cv joint axle shaft , outer and shaft removed iner tri pod joint stuck to axle shaft on trans. tried prying hammering heat...

I have had this problem many times. I have always had to take the clamp off the drive axle boot near the transmission and take it apart there. I have never been able to get one off that did not pop off easy even after I had the transmission out. You just have to reuse the part that is stuck on the transmission and get a new clamp to re clamp the drive axle together. If you have any more questions feel free to ask and Ill do my best to answer them.

Inner spline will not disengage from the diff on the drivers side

Hi, its a tough one, but it will come out. try to use a pry bar with a slightly bent tip, you miHT have to turn axle till one of the "bells"is in a reachable place to put the tip between the axle and the trans case. prybar should have its length towards rear of car, maybe add a 3 to four foot pipe over it to add leverage. if that fails, then you have to remove the passenger axle, using a railroad spike or old 1/2 drive extension, you can drive out the driver side axle from the passenger side axle housing.

Grumbling noise in front drivers side of car.Worst at 30-40 mph.

Sound more like the wheel/hub bearing. An axle will usually make a clicking noise when turning, and be quiet when going straight. It probably wont break by may but it may get louder. Get it checked asap.

the best thing to do is go to any auto parts store and buy a haynes manual for your car, they are based on a complete teardown of vehicle. this manual will tell how to do the job.
