Question about 1990 Honda Accord
While I was showing my daughter how to properly start her car ( not dragging the starterafter ignition) I turned the motor off immediately after starting. It would not restart for a few minutes, but would turn over. The check engine light would not go out upon the key engaging the starter when it failed to start, but it would go out the moment the key engaged the starter for a successful start. Is this normal?
Yes that;s normal usually turning on just the key with turn on some indicator light to be assured that's they are working and no busted. as far the starting you might need a little tune up. if runs and check lighs came on and that's a concerned to address,
