Question about 1998 Buick Regal

1 Answer

My 1998 Buick Regal radio shows E22 and it is not mentioned in the manual. The CD reads as if there is a CD in there but no. I have cleaned it about 5 times but it still is showing E22 and the radio cuts in and out. Anything you can think of?

No radio, no lights, no start = dead battery. Even with key off, lights should come on if battery isn't dead

I need the code to unlock the radio on my 1998 buick regal

Radio security codes are stored on the GM server, we do not have access to that data base. Please contact any local GM dealer for instructions on how to get your code. It was provided to the orig owner on a card.

How do i change the starter own an 1998 buick regal 3.8L i heard that it was simple but u have to remove something under the hood. i was wondering is it the same as a 1996 or 1997 buick regal.

Your 3800 Regal should not create any additional work to remove/replace the factory starter...Ask your parts store to show you one...be sure to disconnect one side of the battery prior to any work around the starter...Should be just 3 bolts (plus 2 wire conncections) for the switch out...Hope this helps.

You will need the radio code. The dealer will have to provide this information unless it is written in your owners manual.
