Question about 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche
I have this problem as well. It started about a year after I got my truck. I had the injectors cleaned as part of the normal maintenance (50,000 mile maybe?) and it started on the first crank for about a week. After that, it was back to the second crank. I've thought about running some injector cleaner through the gas tank, but haven't had a chance yet.

Could be a dirty fuel filter or signs of a fuel pump on it's way out. i would change the filter first becasue its alot cheaper than a pump and you'll have to change it with a new pump anyway
