2006 Chrysler 300 Limited 3.5L v6 Cruise control comes on but won't set. What could be the cause of this and how do I fix it without takin it to the shop?

Most likely can't fix. Chrysler has a reputation with black boxes.
Probably just a push button switch failure, but just like GM ignition switches they'll save 5cents to cause big problems later for the customer. You might try the "disconnect battery overnight" to see if it will reset the appropriate black box, boxes. May or may not work.

My manual says to use 5w-20. I have a 2006 chrysler 300 v6 2.7. Which brand is best and would using a synthetic be better or worse?

any brand of oil is ok but you have to do the oil change every 3k miles or under
this motor will go bad if you don't do the oil change
synthetic will be better and cost more but you still have to do the oil change every 3k

go only and search chrysler or dodge 2.7 engines

I was driving in my 2006 Chrysler 300 limited and all the oil came out of it. Does that mean that I need a new motor

That is a possibility - especially if you kept the motor running still a couple of minutes. But check first if you can manage with a new head gasket. Anyway, if you're not an expert - let some expert to check the car and tell you what you'd need.

Chrysler 300 3.5 v6 Slight engine knock - oil always changed

I have a 2006 with a 3.5 (41,000 miles). No oil consumption but had the knock. Started as a slight knock and continued to get louder. My buddy works at the dealer and hooked me up. Chrysler knows about this problem, it's the rocker arm assembly coming apart. They have a new revised part to fix the problem. THEY NEED TO RECAL THIS.

Advice on purchasing a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited with 98000 miles

Hello scottym88...The chrysler 300 engine is the weak point on this vehicle, the 2.7 litre was a major headache for owners, dealers and Chrysler...the problem was due to engine sludge, poor oil circulation, poor crankcase ventilation, faulty timing chain tensioners...etc...From 1998-2004 the Chrysler 2.7L was prone to Oil Sludge often caused by internal coolant leakage that has to do with the design of the Water Pump that allows coolant to enter the Engine over time and causes oil sludge...result..ENGINE FAILURE. For 2005, changes included improvements to the PCV system and improved oil circulation, to even later increasing oil capacity by an extra quart in an attempt to make the engine more reliable... Unfortunately, even with all of these modifications premature engine failure is common. I've seen this first hand...and the really sad part is CHRYSLER knows...yet refuses to cover prematurely failed engines even when under its own 3 Year / 36,000 mile warranty while blaming consumers for these problems.
If you want to research this further, check out the consumer complaints on this vehicle and/or the 2.7 litre engine. I have been a MOPAR enthusiast all my life, and in my opinion this was the worst engine that chrysler ever released to the public.
Good luck...i hope this helps answer your question..please rate me a fixya.

Chrysler le baron 1991 3.0 V6

If all you did was remove the pan and service it then 3 and 3/4 liters will fill it. If it was rebuilt and has no fluid at all then it will take 8 and 1/2 liters
