Question about 2003 Saturn VUE
My friend I just paid $510 bucks (diagnostic, tow, and labor) and problem has not been fixed as yet......It sound like you have an
overheating ECM and will not run or even start until it cools down.
My friend who just raped me....says to prove that is the problem, pour Ice water directly onto the ECM unit....it wont hurt it as it is a sealed unit.....cost to find out? $0 ha ha try...you never know.
If it starts after a few minutes of pouring water on it ...then you know what to do.......The new ECM...cost $979.00 plus labor of around $200....HOWEVER, you can send your old ECM in and in three days they will repair it, re-flash it and pay shipping and handling both ways for a total of..... get this...$225.00 and that includes 1 year warrantee.

GM's have issues with fuel pumps. Try spraying quick start or brake cleaner into the throttly body when it doesn't start. If it now starts then you will know its a fuel issue. If it still does not start then you have an ignition issue. The crank sensor, the ignition modules and possibly a temperature sensor could be the problem.
