You may have an internal leak inside of master cylinder. Have it check out by a repair shop.

I converted my 82 jeep cj 7 manual brakes over to power now i dont have a good pedal why?

vacuum ok to booster
bleed it all 3 ways.? then bleed again?

the booster still allows manual brakes to work with a hard padel
so , bleed it until it does. is the free play on the rear of the MC
set to spec. I bet not.
there must be free play there or the brakes will lock up.
do not ALLOW that to ever HAPPEN
great danger waits to those that dont set up brakes rigtht.

Do you have to used VAG 1869/2 tool brake depressor to bleed brakes on a VW 2007 EOS ?

thats too much hard work dude!,go to an auto parts store and buy a one man bleeder kit,the hand vacuum style works the best.looking at only about 25 to 30 bucks for it,and it will pump the fluid in front of your face till no bubbles are present, just keep the master cylinder full!!,you can leave the cap off the master while doing this.

The pedal should not feel that way if you just changed the pads, you must have another issue like a master cylinder

Still cant get a brake pedal.. been bleeding the lines but not getting much out of them. replaced master cylinder, still no pedal. has all new lines also

you may have to run the motor as you bleed the brakes so the abs hydraulic unit can purge any air that might be caught within the unit itself.did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it on the car.this can save time and reduce the possible chance of air entering the system.make sure you don`t allow the master cylinder to run low on brake fluid.i also assume that you are bleeding the brakes properly.Left front brake works with Right rear brake and Right front brake works with Left rear brake.this is how the brakes should be bleed.

I relaced all brake pads on 2003 buick bleed brakes very little air my brake peddle still spungy and anti brake light stays on

you must re-bleed the system properly, especially the back brakes. Bring your vehicle to a local autozone to reset the ABS light or check for an ABS fault code and post it on fixya!!

I have replace wheel cylinder on 97 Stratus, bleed the brake several times, but the brake pedal seems to get more spongy every time I bleed. Could the master cylinder possibly need replace? Is there a...

Itsw very unlikely their is a problem with the master cylinder. When you pump the brake's to bleed them it uses up the vacuum and the brakes will be spungy because the servo isnt working properly. After bleeding leave it running for a few minutes then try the pedal it should be ok. If their is a problem with the master cylinder then the pedal would go all the way to the bottom but not spungy. You may need to bleed the brake on the other side to get all the air out of the system.

Brake pedal goes too far down. Brakes still stop car fine. Too much pedal travel. 2005 model year.

You have to check your master cylinder, pump your brake several times and hold it, see if is going down to the bottom, if does, the master cylinder is wrong, check the brake pressure hose, maybe you have some air in your brake lines, be sure you have enough brake fluid
