Question about 2000 Pontiac Montana
Most cars have a bolt on the side of the oil pan,on the engine, make sure you are not draining the transmission, the oil is black, tranny fluid is red. The bolt is usually on the side so it doesn't get knocked off by railroad tracks or other road hazards. Hope this helps.
