Push the button on the lower left side down by the gas tank button release. It's in that general area. Your owner's manual will show you exactly where it is.

Afs light blinking

Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) is used when for example if it was day time and you entered a dark parking garage the lights would detect and adapt to the lighting environment which will then automatically trigger the Bi-xenon headlights to turn on themselves in order to illuminate the road ahead when the vehicle anticipates it is necessary. It is an automatic feature which turns on by itself for your convenience therefore you wont have to induce any actions, the car does it all for you. And most Importantly (I quote) "the Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) automatically controls the headlight lighting pattern according to steering angle and vehicle speed to help provide better visibility at night You will need to see the dealer on this, the part that causes this is dealer only

How to fix "AFS off" for

This is a friction detection issue. One asks when is a friction issue not a friction issue....on Pontiac's it's tied into the transmission and all motor mounts. things that give fairly false signals is a motor mount that supports the transmission. If it's "clunking" or letting parts move it just may be your bad guy. If Im totally in left field with your model/make look into different inputs into the AFS circuitry. Because obviously your not on ice and snow the entire time this indicator is on. Designed to let the operator know that the friction co-efficient is mis-matched and you may be hydroplaning and not be aware of it.

Afs mean lexus

Switch labelled 'AFS OFF' is down near the fuel door release.'AFS' means Adaptive Front lighting System (at night with the Bi-Xenon headlights) it swivels either side, pressing that button means they stay pointing straight ahead and don't turn when you turn the steering wheel. You need to push the button again to turn the AFS back on.

2004 Lexus LS430- AFS light is blinking all time, headlights goes up when started and aimed correctly now. Couple of months ago, I took the positive terminal off the battery to reset the AFS light but did...

you need a scan tool to clear the fault code before the light will go out, but a health check should be performed to see if any other problems exist.

How to replace Lexus RX330 headlights.

replacing the headlights is easy. There is no need to adjust the afs, is is automatically done within the vehicle. Changing the bulbs doesn't affect the afs system at all.
