Question about 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche
If you are fairly handy with this kinda stuff, you can but you might want to get it done. the key-hole on those tend to sieze, all i did was take it apart and put some WD40 on it then lubed it up. best way to get to it is taking the plactic backing on the inside of the tailgate off.
