Question about 1996 Honda Accord
The car used to run very perfectly for the last six months but from past 2 days i am noticing that it stops suddenly anytime on the road which is a big headache for me and if i wait for couple of mins and start again then it starts.
Could you all please help me in letting know what the problem would be.
First you need to isolate the problem whether it is fuel or ignition related. if there is no-spark when it quits then it's in the ignition, if there is no gas when it happens then it's in the fuel system.
if the ignition system then you have to check the coil and distributor ( the igniter in the distributor is known for cutting off and restart after it cool down ).
if the fuel system then you need to check the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump for defective.

Testimonial: "Thanx for the response Jas Le. I checked with Tiresplus and he is saying like the prob is with the exhaust and some other stuff which would come to 1000$. I dont know whether it is the accurate solution and what to do? Could you suggest me some other place where it can be done for a less price as i cant afford so much."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
