Question about 1992 Subaru Legacy
The boyfriend has a 92 Subaru legacy and its having a weak throttle response. Its having a tough time getting to 45mph it seems as though weve checked everything from top to bottom could it be the ignition coil?
I would have have the TPS (Throttle Position Switch) tested, it sends a signal to the ECM of where the position of the throttle is so the ECM can determine how much fuel and air and spark to give to the engine. Have you replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug wires? Have the coil tested also to see if it is putting out enough spark. Do you have any Check Engine Light coming on?
