Question about 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager

1 Answer

Gages on a 1999 Plymouth Grand voyager keep going out. We know it has to do with the wire connection on the back of the dash. You move the wires and it will go out. Then it will come back and go out again. Help!

It has a cracked board in the cluster. This is a common problem. When you move the connector on the cluster it flexes the board. You can replace just the board but it isn't real cheap and after you replace it you will have to have the dealer program it.

1997 plymounth grand voyager. My airbag light is on! Is there any recalls? Also my dash gages quit working.

Recalls only go back ten years. since you are having other dash problems, it probably time to replace the dash panel. They have computer chips in them that run most all the gauges and warning lights. I would get one from the salvage yard. they can tell you what years will work in the van

Check eng. light comes on.Not all the time. gages on dash dont move sometimes will move if i hit dash. Horn stoped working. Van runs very good so could there be a lose connection in or around...

The problem may be with the wiring under the hood. Inspect first for loose connections or bad wiring under the hood before inspecting the wiring harness at the computer.

How do you remove and replace a blower motor on a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager?

Caution : BEFORE STARTING, DISCONNECT BATTERY ( - ) NEGATIVE CABLE FROM BATTERY TO AVOID POSSIBLE AIR BAG DEPLOYING, AND WAIT 3 or 4 minutes before beginning to be sure.. Removing glove box will make it easier. In behind there, you'll see a cover over motor, remove it, then you'll see motor and fan wheel. Remove wiring connector and push it back through into housing . Remove 3 screws holding motor/fan assembly and lower it down and out of housing. Reverse procedure for install, and don't forget wiring back through housing and grommet on wiring. Re-connect battery clamp after all installed and test it. Good Luck.

you need to go over your entire wiring harness, under the hood and inside the dash. Start with the ground wire on the battery and work your way inside. It sounds like there is a loose ground wire somewhere
