Question about 2000 Mazda MPV
The high beam indicator is on when ever the headlights are turned on.The problem is I have no low beam. Only the high beam works. I have checked the bulbs. They were removed and passed both the low and high beam test. I put in a new turn signal/headlight switch. It still happens. Is it a relay?
You need a new headlight dimmer switch located on the steering column between the dash and the firewall

This is going to be a problem with your light switch or dimmer switch. Replace the light switch and see if that resolves the issue.

SOURCE: headlight low beam
Test to see if you have voltage at the bulb connector in low beam position. I'd almost bet that if there is no voltage there for the low beams that you have a bad high/low switch.
