A sink has a "grease trap" its the bottom piece shaped like a U. At the top of this, and at the end where it goes into the straight piece that goes into the wall, there are two threaded pieces. Take these two off (use a bowl underneath to catch the trapped water and debris.

Once this is clear of water and debris, put it back on and run the water to see if it is still plugged. If so, you may need to run a "snake" through the pipe beyond the "grease trap". Or, if you prefer or cannot get a "snake" ($10 bucks at Fred Meyer), use something like Drain-O.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Not a bad idea using a coat hanger, and yes a plunger will prove useful as well, however in a case such as this, it can result in a huge mess, and one will want to do this the right way, the first time - saving you time, money, and the trouble of cleaning up yet another mess.

Where is the sunroof drain located on 2002 monte carlo ss and how do i unclog it?

Water leaks are fun to trace out. the drain holes and tubes can be seen with roof open and can be unplugged with compressed air . but usually the headliner is soaked and leaks on to seats the windshield will leak on to passenger floor. remove glove box and check for wetness along "A" pillar.

The air conditioner drain is clogged on my lasabre. How can I unclog it?

I usually unclog them using a puff of compressed air. The crud that plugs them is pretty soft and generally is quite easy to blow out. It may plug up again a time or two until the crud works itself out but usually once the drain is finally clear it will stay open for quite a while.

How can I unclug my sunroof?

The best item is weedeater (weedwhacker or whatever you call it) nylon. It is thick enough to push blockage out and flexible to handle any bends. Also check the exit of the drain tube (behind a cover near the front wheel on my GTV6) as an accumulation of mud will prevent the gutter from draining out.

Cycle finishes but water is not draining

Sounds like too much water leftover.

Give me a make and model number of the dishwasher.

Check that the drain hose isn't kinked, and that where the drain connects at the garbage disposal at the sink isn't partially clogged. And, is the garbage disposal clean/clear of food stuff's.
I had a similar thing happen to me a few weeks ago, and it turned out the kitchen sink drain line was clogged.

Water does not drain away, remains in bottom of dishwasher at end of cycle

It is very important to have the d/w drain hose attached higher on the drain connection you must have tapped into when you installed it. If it a built in the drain hose would/should lead to just right after the u-trap under the kitchen sink. Hope thatt helps!
