You need to center drill the broken stud & use lots of penetrating oil to help loosen the broken stud. Then purchase a reverse thread easyout. The easy out can be purchased at any good automotive store or tool supplier. Good luck!

Fuse location of 1991 toyota pickup ac compressor

The fuse should be in the fuse box near the battery.
Keep in mind the low pressure switch has to be jumpered if the system is low to make the compressor come on.

BMW 318i M46 belt tensioning

adjust ur belt by following steps
now that you know where the components are these components are driven by a belt. So when you turn your AC on there’s a belt that’s driving the AC compressor, when you turn the stirring wheel and you have that nice that easy feel of turning the stirring wheel when you’re parallel parking your car that’s the power stirring pump doing its job. Your alternator is keeping the battery charged, the lights on and the engine running. So I want to show you where the belts are, what they look like, how to adjust them and how to tell a bad belt from a good belt. As you can see these are your drive belts, this is the AC drive belt it drives the AC compressor, this is the alternator drive belt it drives the alternator, if you look down here you can see this is where the adjustment is on that AC compressor belt, if you look right here this is the top adjusting bolt for adjusting the alternator either up or down to tighten or loosen the belt. There’s a bolt down here that locks the alternator in place and this bolt is the pivot bolt for the alternator. So if you’re going to let’s say remove your alternator belt you’d have to remove these covers, loosen this bolt, loosen this bolt that’s underneath this cover and adjust this bolt to either lower the alternator or raise the alternator, if you’re belt was too loose you’ll pull up on the alternator, if the belt was too tight you’ll

When stopped in drive the steering wheel vibrates a lot when the air conditioner is on .There are already new motor mounts replaced could it be the adjustment of the idle screw ?throttle plate cleaning...

The belt tensioner can cause many of these problems, sometimes the serpentine or fan belt is replaced, but the tensioner is not given much thought, a tensioner that is going out, can cause the belt to not have enough tension to keep the battery charged by slipping, when the clutch on the ac compressor cycles on and off, if the tensioner is to loose, or not tight enough can cause the compressor to vibrate, it can cause wear on other parts attached to the belt even cause pre-mature wear on other pulleys. good luck!

there is a a/c idler pulley that is the adjuster also.it is located more towards the bottom of the car under the backside of the alternator next to the timing cover. it is black and smaller than a coke can.once you find it there is a 14mm nut that you have to loosen on the front side and then there is a adjuster bolt on the top part that screws through the back side of the pulley to adjust the belt tension that could either be 12mm or 14mm if someone has not changed it from the factory one.........i hope this info helped you and good luck........if i can help in any other way let me know......let me know how you did......

AC not working

Check belt for adjustment as loose belts as loose belts can cause a squeal if that is ok then it's possible that the AC compressor is locked up. Remove the belt and turn compressor by hand and see if it spins freely if it doesn't there is your noise. While you are at it spin all pulleys by hand feel for rough turning and listen for noises.

A/c belt replacement

It should go right on without any hassle. Double check your belt. Buy another one at a different place, you can always return one of them. It sounds like the wrong size.
