The shift solenoids come as one assembly, they are located inside the transmission attached to the valve body, u must remove the pan from the transmission to access them, a very, very messy job on the gound..

Yeah thats a painful job. you may just have bent pins. its right under the air cleaner box at the top of the tranny.
