When i turn the key my car wont start so i replaced the starter.Still no start.I bumped the starter and it starts and shuts right off???Any ideas.

Does it run for a second and then die? It might be fuel related. Check the fuel pump. Check your fuses. Make sure you are getting a spark too. What all have you checked? Let me knw, I am here to help. Being broke down sucks.

1988 firebird formula 5.0 tpi car just died replaced feul pump, relay, fuse checked wiring changed module, coil pump wont turn on unless direct power car still wont start help please out of ideas

It sounds like you may have burned out your fusable link. It's a special wire that comes off the starter solennoid and is designed to burn off in the event of an overload. DO NOT REPLACE IT WITH REGULAR WIRE, THIS IS A LEADING CAUSE OF CAR FIRES.
You will want to check for what caused the overload condition that caused the fusable link to burn out in the first place.

My '94 Delta 88 (3.8 normal) started idling high, then dropping while driving, until several times it died on the road. Since that time it starts at 2200-2400rpm. I've pulled the IAC, cleaned it, and...

check your throttle position sensor, my delta 88 had the same problem, and it still **** out on me but i have a lifetime warrenty on the part. after i change it the car runs normally for about 3 months before i have to change it again. the tps is made really ****.

just un-screw the retainer bolt for the idler pulley. some of them are left hand thread and or require a #50 torx
