Okay, in the attached photo, look above the shifter knob....mounted on the bottom of the trim panel, there is a slot for the code reader. Do you not have this?

It should be under the dash somewhere on the driver's side of the car.

Code reader will not make a connection with the cars computer

do you have a OBD-I reader ! from 96 and before are OBD-I, 96 on up are OBD-II scanners.c hecking trouble codes from your 1994 GM vehicle does not require the use of special equipment, such as a scan tool.

I have a 97 eagle talon that turns over but won't

The Alternator will not affect spark as long as the battery has enough charge in it. You need to scan the electronic engine control computer (called the OBD2 system computer) with a code reader, if you have no spark there should be a fault code. You can buy a coder reader for the OBD2 system at any parts store for about $50

My 1994 egle vision is running rich. gasoline smells strong. Is it the fuel sensor?

There are several things that can cause it to run rich. You need to find out if there are any codes in the computer system, Turn the key on and off three times and on there third time leave it on and start counting the flashes that the check engine light flashes. One flash then twwo. Ignore that code wait till the next code starts flashing. Once you have that code you should be able to find out what sensor is acting up, Auto zone should have a book on your car that tells you the codes plus help you read the codes better. Hope this helps leave comment.

ABS SYSTEM of my car is always on

If the light is staying on, there is some problem with the system. the light comes on at startup as it soes a selftest. If it stays on, sounds like you will need a code reader to find out what the issue is. Try your local autoparts house. They often have a code reader and will help you diagnose the issue.
