The belts are either too tight or too loose. Probably too tight.

Chirping noise when accelerating

If it is a belt noise, sprinkling baby powder on the belt will make the noise go away. Apply liberaly with engine off onto the belt and start the vehicle. The belt may have gotten coolant on it and this will cause the chirp. Also a defective belt tensioner will cause the belt to chirp

When i started the car it made a loud sreeching noise could that mean that i need a new belt

If it was really loud, it's possible that the starter solenoid is not functioning properly. You get the same type of noise when you try to start a car that has already been started.

Start up problem

If the belts are making noise, the alternator may NOT be spinning fast enough to produce sufficient voltage to charge ther battery, because the belts are slipping, and slipping = noises.
Tighten the belts.

Regarding the starter: Replace it, or get it overhauled at a starter repair service. You have bad starter contacts
