Whats the code. Without the code we have no clue. Check all your fuses. The first step in most ABS diagnotics is to first check the fuse. I do not have access to your legend. Its also possible when you were working near a wheel you disturbed a connector going to a wheel. The code for this should say open... A short code is not a good thing since it can damage a computer.

My brake light will not go out on my 2000 rx 300, but its not the abs light

This light usually comes on if you have a failed wheel speed sensor but these vehicles are common for the ABS module to fail causing the same problem. You can back probe the wires comming out of each wheel speed sensor with the wheel lifted in the air and check for ac voltage as you spin the wheel.

What ever sensor does not put out voltage needs to be replaced if they all seeem to work it is likely the ABS module. Before you replace any parts you would want to have the ABS module checked for codes at one of your local shops that has a high end scantool that can access those codes.

Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Mazda yr 2000 Premacy. After parking car up for a few months both the brake and ABS warning lights are on. Car brakes seem to work OK

Your ABS control module has failed. It can fail in two areas.. either the fuse controlling it which is a large fuse and located in the engine cmpartment on most vehicles or the actual ABS actuator control module which is a computer driven box located on bottom of vehicle that pumps the brakes to make them antilock (think how in the 70s you were told to pump brakes, now the car pumps its own brakes) The computer module is what burns out leaving you without ABS but not brakes themselves. Your car indicates this by showing you an ABS error light and a brake light. You are not in danger by driving the vehicle you just will NOT have antilock brakes in the event of an accident and could slide if you lock the brakes by slamming them down. Check your owners manual for the fuse location in your vehicle and inspect it. If its burned out replace it and see if this fixes the problem This is a 3-7 dollar fuse. If that doesnt do the trick unfortunately the repair is very expensive 700+ dollars for a new control unit.

My speedometer does not work

the speedometer signal come thru the ABS module. Its possible the sensor itself failed or the ABS module failed. Is the ABS light on.?? If so you will need to retrieve codes to proceed.

My 2000 siverado shows abs code C0265 brake control module relay circuit only turns on the light when the truck gets warm any ideas?

The electronic brake control module will need to be replaced. The realy is inside the module and there is no replacement or repair for the module itself.

2000 Lancruiser Horn not working

Luckily the horn system is fairly primitive. The likely causes in order of likelyhood are:

1- Horns failed (common from water intrusion). Relatively inexpensive to replace.

2- Relay stuck/burned out or fuse burned out. Inexpensive to replace, but may have underlying cause

3- Wiring fault of some sort. Depends on severity of damage

4- Horn button fault. Expensive to replace (part of airbag)

I have replaced many many Toyota LC and LX470 horns from water damage/age. Your problem is likely horn or fuse related.

Abs light illuminated

DTC C0121 will set if the valve relay voltage is low or if the relay supply line is at 12 volts when the ABS control module is not requesting it. This DTC will also set if the ABS control module detects three or more solenoid
valve circuits are open or shorted during the self-test.
Cause(s)
A connector terminal is corroded.
The wiring harness is damaged.
The ground terminal is not conducting properly.
The EBCM is defective.
the relay is internal to ABS unit.
