Kia Sportage slight missfire (intermittant)

This car should still be under warranty. If I had to venture a guess based on experience, I would say that the insulators on the coil packs might be leaking. Take it into your nearest dealer and see what they will do. Under warranty they should also cover a rental car. Let me know and I can see what else I can do for you.

Computer says #3 missfire. obvious dead cylinder. what plugs should i use? What ohm should I read through the coils? Dont think its an injector, afterfires like crazy, #3 is getting fuel.

Check with your local parts store. They can locate the correct plug and the gap for it-they may also be able to test the coil and/or give the the ohm rating

05 kia sportage v6 automatic stalls at a stop. no check engine light, all new air, fuel filters,o2's,plugs,maf,iat, good trans fluid level! sometimes kicks hard with no load decel. feels to be pushing...

try to wiggle the wire harness around the engine bay also knock the fuse box while engine running then if the engine stall it may be a loos connection. or try to replce your crank shaft sensor
