Your description indicates possibly a wheel bearing going bad. Is there a humming noise or grinding noise associated with this as well and does it tend to get louder when turning left?

This is a good indication that the wheel bearing is bad. A way you can check that particular wheel bearing is using jack under the left side to raise the left front tire off the ground. Then you can grab the tire top and bottom and shake the tire to see if there is excessive movement in the wheel. It should be tight.

The wheel bearing may not always be loose to be bad. You may need to have it lifted on a hoist and run in the air to verify the noise is coming from the left front.Usually I will unplug an abs sensor as well in order to disble the traction control. This will only work for a awd or 4wd.

How do i fix the vibrating noise/feeling especially on the left hand side of the nissan bluebird sylphy?

If the noise gets worse making a right turn, then goes away or close on a left turn. It is a wheel bearing. If it an engine mount. Put a jack under it and lift the engine slightly. If the vibration goes away. I suggest you replace all the other mounts.

Any ideas why a 2003 chevy trailblazer may vibrate in the front but stops when you turn left

Does the vehicle make any noises while driving? If there is a "growling or roaring " noise associated with the vibration, check the right front hub bearing. If there are no noises and only vibration, check the right front upper ball joint and control arm bushings. The Trailblazer's upper ball joint and control arm bushings become worn and cause the tire and wheel assembly to shimmy while driving. The vibration stops when turning left because of weight transfer to the right side which keeps the wheel steady for a moment. Also, check the tire for irregular wear.

I have a 2011 Nissan Sentra. It has developed a loud hum and vibration to the steering wheel from the front end .it has 180,000km. Any ideas?

How are the tires? New? Old? Rotate them and see if noise goes away. Possibly front wheel bearing in the front drive axle where it goes thru the hub and rotor.......goes the noise get worse if you turn right or left slightly when driving it? If it gets worse on one side that is the side with the bad bearing.....replace as needed.

Vibration coming from front axle when coming to a stop it gets worse, brakes are good , maybe cv joint?

if you feel the pulsation in brake pedal when stopping. its a warped brake rotor thats causing it. for bad cv joint symtoms--- Unusual noises when making turns. As you are driving on the road and you make a turn at the corner, if you start hearing unusual sounds coming from under the car then this is one of the symptoms of a bad CV joint. These noises will sound like something is clicking beneath the car every time you turn the steering wheel. Evidence of a damaged boot. Steering wheel feels heavier. The steering wheel will start to feel tighter and heavier and you can hardly make simple turns to the left or right. In severe cases you might even feel heavy vibrations like you are driving down a rocky road.

I have an 02 impala Service traction control light comes on right away and when your driving down the road it makes a loud roaring sound when you turn to the left and goes away when you turn to the right....

Hi, your right front wheel bearing has failed. This induces vibration to the wheel speed sensor pickup that caused the traction control fault. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

CV-joint (axle) but most likely the wheel bearing like mentioned. When you turn right the weight shifts to the left taking the load off the right passenger side bearing.

Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.
