Yes the hazzard flasher in the dash is also the singnal flasher
you will need to replace the multifuntion switch
to do this remove the steering column covers i belive there is 3 7mm bolts at the bottom and the top and bottom cover are snapped together
remove the tilt lever it pulls straight out
disconnect the wire connectors for the wipers headlights ect.
then there is a bolt in the centre of the multifuntion switch a T30 torx
remove that bolt and then lift straight up
then install the new switch
IMPORTANT YOU WILL SEE A STEEL PIN PUSH THAT PIN IN AS YOU PUSH THE SWITCH DOWN INTO PLACE
OR THE SWITCH WILL NOT SIT FLUSH
then install the T30 bolt and reconnect the wire connectors and reassemble the covers
hope this helps if you have any problems let me know

The computer system is constantly doing self tests. Unless you note a problem when it clicks, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is annoying then you may want to have a mechanic take a look at it. Good Luck

Where is turn signal flasher located on unidentified vehicle?

The turn signal flashers on unidentified vehicles are usually above the pedals down under the dashboard on the driver's side. If you turn on a signal and look up into the wiring under the dash you should hear the clicking noise which might help you to locate the flasher unit. If the signal flasher isn't working or making noise, try the emergency flasher. The flasher units usually are close to each other and look alike.
Good luck.

I have no signal lights, left or right, on my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I was having a problem with a front bulb not contacting properly making the right signal flash rapidly. I left it flashing while

Check if your emergency flashers still work. You possibly need a new flasher. Some cars have separate flashers for turn signals and emergency flashers, but some they are both together. If your emergency flashers still operate leave them on and find the flasher (follow the clicking noise the flasher makes) and see if there is another flasher right next to it. swap with the emergency flasher and see if your turn signals work again. If so, replace the faulty flasher.

1999 chevy lumina parking lights flashing and strange clicking noise coming from the dash near the steering column even when the car is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. How do I stop...

Sounds like you turned on your emergency flashers somehow without knowing it. The button should be on your steering column. Otherwise, find the flasher control under the dash by following the clicking noise and unplug it. Then go buy a new flasher control.

1995 GMC Jimmy brake lights not working

Brake lights run through the hazzard switch. There are known problems with this, and the multifunction switch. You may need to buy a new hazzard switch and OR the multifunction switch. Before you do that, check the pigtail that goes into the brake switch up by the fender, make sure it's not shorting out up there. Happened to me!

The single light is not working

If you mean your signal light is not working, look under the dash for the flasher. It will look like a relay. If your emergency flashers are working, turn them on and listen for the clicking of the flasher under the dash. The signal light flasher should be very close to the emergency flasher.
