Where do I put the freon into

You didn't say what year but here is what you are looking for.
The Low Pressure Service Port has a Larger diameter than the High Pressure port. The High Pressure port will cause the freon can to explode if you connect to it.

Air cond blowing warm air where is the charging port for the ac

A couple of things wrong here and a couple right. First of all the Low Side Charging port is down on the compressor on the underside of engine, a plastic sheild must be removed to access it and this is not easy to get to. Secondly, this car takes R134 refrigerant that can be purchased many local retailers legally.Freon is a Dupont name for R12, it isn't manufactured anymore. Lastly, I DO AGREE that this is NOT something you should try yourself unless you have proper equipment and training!! You and your car can easily get damaged otherwise.

Adding freon

There are 2 ports, the low pressure side is larger in diameter, and that is where you attach the freon container.
The thinner hose is the high pressure side, and is not where you add freon, but only attach a gauge.
Wear eye protection.
Locate the receiver/dryer, after the condenser.
It is a cylinder with a small glass port at the top.
With the engine running, add freon until you no longer see bubbles in this sight glass. But do not add more than that or you could blow the pump on liquid.
You can put the freon can in a bowl of warm water as it slowly is sucked in and ices up.

I'm wanting to put freon in my 1999dodge durango and I don't know which valve I put it in. The package said it would have a black cap and both ports have black caps.

you need to hook up the charging hose to the "low Pressure" port it should be the one closest to the a/c compressor, if you look at the lines coming off the compressor you will see it!!
it is the smaller one, the charging connector will only fit on one of the ports, so if it appears it will not slide on to the port then you need to try the other port!
also make sure the engine is running and the a/c is turned on while you are adding freon!!

The Low side Connector port is located on the A/C compressor itself. This is on the bottom of driver's side of engine. You must jack up car and remove access panel behind aluminum wishbone of a arm.
