The code P1451 should refer to evaporative emission vent control malfunction.
Not to go off track but I am not sure about the tool you used to come up with this definition. It could be right or wrong, i'm not sure but if it is correct then it may mean that it needs coolant added to the radiator or that the sensor for the low coolant level circuit has detected a fault. But If the cooling system is ok then go on and look into the emission system. Again i'm not sure what type of scan-tool you are using so depending on that. You may or may not be able to look at like data and do some in vehicle testing.

What is the code P1451 solution? Runs great, codes P1451, P0171 and P0174 are coming up and the engine light is on. Car needs to get inspected but codes need to be fixed.

P0171 - System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0174 - System too Lean (Bank 2)
P1451 - EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
I'm afraid I don't have enough info to tell you how to fix the P1451 but I'm certain it's the cause of the other two codes.

Default code P1451 Land Rover Discovery II

The code P1451 on a Land Rover is "Leakage Detection Module Motor power stage error Drive cycle A:Signal out of range - above maximum". This is an OBD-II diagnostic system code. As far as I know, a 1995 Land Rover Discovery does not use a OBD-II system. Is it possible that this rover is a later model year

P1451 error code

Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes or so. This could reset the light. If it does not, call the dealer, service department and ask them to tell you how to reset the light.
I hope this helps you.

I have a 2001 VW Cabrio with most of the same codes (P0411, P0103, P1225-1228, P1451, P1425 and P1472) I've read that replacing the fuel pump relay (about $4 online? ) should clear at least P1225-1228, P1425 and P1472 (just haven't tried it yet ( ))
I know this is an old post but hopefully someone reads this and can help, I'll be checking this page evey so often with my fingers crossed, thanks.
