How to adjust a Larin ajld 2-ton hydraulic jack

I have a Larin ajld-2 2 ton hydraulic jack. It's a single chamber pump. A friend borrowed it and it hasn't worked since. It will lift about 8 inches without a load, but no more. It won't bear any weight at all right now. It's had little use in the past but worked well up until it was borrowed. I'm guessing he messed with the hex nut on the hydraulic chamber trying to figure out how to unlock it (?) but really I have no idea why it won't work now.

My Larin jack is 5 months old and will not pick up 10 pounds. Nobody seems to have parts or knows how to adjust the stupid things. Buyer beware I guess.

SOURCE: i recently replaced my throwout

Sounds like the throwout bearing may be the wrong one. Did you check the old one with the new one before installing it?

How to replace motor mounts on 2003 hyundai sonata

You really need the car on a lift or tall jack stands to do this. You will need a full set of hand tools, a good hydraulic floor jack, a set of Jack stands (AKA Safety Stands) and a 1.5 Ton bottle jack. Raise the front of the car as high as possible and unbolt the old mounts from the engine and engine cradle, then Carefully using the bottle jack (put a piece of wood on the plunger of the jack to avoid damage to the oil pan) raise the engine off the mounts and remove them, and reverse install new mounts, time about 2-3 hours to do the repair.

How do I adjust clutch in Chevy 2002 4WD 1/2 ton! It won't let me shift gears?

I believe you have a hydraulic system. There isn't an adjustment. Maybe time for a clutch job.

Change pump hydraulic to electric jacks

I would contact the MFG for their recommendations for changing to electric jacks. Is your current hydraulic system an electric pump or hand? You might want to consider an electric hydraulic pump. Availability for the snow plow community is high. Their reliability is well known.

I also have a Michelin 3 1/2 ton jack that will jack up. My guess is that it needs hydraulic fluid but I have no idea where to fill it with fluid. Where do I refill the fluid at on this jack?

MOST JACKS HAVE A BOLT LOOK PLUG TO REFILL THE JACK AND YOU DO IT WITH THE JACK AT THE LOWERS POINT, SOME HAVE A RUBBER PLUG. YOU CAN USE P/S FLUID OR TRANMISSION FLUID TOO TO REFILL IT.

Where is the fuel pump location on an olds cutless 3.1

The fuel pump is electric and it is located inside the fuel tank. The fuel tank must be removed to access the fuel pump, the new fuel pump is called the fuel pump module and it comes with the gas level sending unit and the new pump. To replace it on the ground is about a 4 hour job and you will need an assistant. A good quality 3 ton hydraulic floor jack (about $100.00) is needed, safety "Jack" stands to support the car and a good set of common hand tools as well as a GM fuel line retaining clip release tool (avail at most auto parts stores) You will also need fuel safe containers to drain some of the fuel out or the tank will be very heavy and hard to handle.

Height of a factory jack for a jeep grand cherokee laredo 2004. I recently discovered the jack was missing - how high must the replacement jack go (scizzor or Bottle) necessary to thange a tire

If dont remember bad, at '02 came with scissors, after '03 and upper came with bottle.

This is my suggest, 6-21" lift, seems like a good size for the WJ. Moderately priced.
Michelin 2½-Ton Jack $89.99 (CDN)
* Hydraulic Speedy Lift is a patented design - the fastest way to reach car chassis
* 6" - 21" maximum height is ideal for SUVs
* Wider jack stance increases overall stability of the jack
* Unique design combines aesthetics and strength in the overall jack design
* Universal joint ensures smooth release and secure valve operation from any pumping angle
* Storage tray is ideal for keeping track of small parts or hardware
* Saddle pad helps prevent damage to vehicle during lifting

Keep in mind the use that your Jeep is very important, also if your like to practice off-road tours.

Hope this helps.
