SOURCE: 1995 Ford Explorer heater/ac not working -

that cliking you hear is most likely the heater relay. but i don't think thats it, i would be checking to see if there is a resister, for the blower motor, it should be someware around the blower motor along with the relay in the same place. it will be on the heater box held in with a couple of screws, and a plug going to it with 4 or 5 wires.when they go bad, blower may only work on one or two speeds or not at all.

2004 ford freestar front blower motor will not come on. Windshield wipers only work occasionally

Pull the control switch out of the dash and check the switch connector for burnt connectors terminals, it will be be discolored, if you do find the switch burnt replace the switch and buy a repair connector from Ford. If the connector is ok then replace the blower motor resistor near the blower motor, it can cause this problem as well, in fact do that first, the blower resistor module is only about $18.00 (Source Rockauto.com). the wipers are controlled through the BCM (body control module), it can be tested with a scan tool. Below is a picture of the blower resistor module.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to diagnose no power to front blower motor in a 2006 Ford Freestar mini van.

You also have the front blower motor speed controller and the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module to check.

Front blower motor not working

Grab your multi-meter and first off check the blower fuse visually if it checks out then you won't have to fetch meter for next step:-) With your meter find the connectors TO blower - turn key to on position, no need to start then with meter switched to DC POWER see if you get a reading indicating power to motor if you are getting power I pronounce the motor deceased--if not then the next step will be tracing the wiring to find a break or bare spot that could be grounding it out good luck

Why won't my window work

Check for:
(1) Bound mechanism - try testing the motor before installing, see if you can move the window up and down by hand.
(2) Good ground. Make sure you have both 12V & ground at the motor.
(3) Bad replacement motor. Although unlikely, you could have gotten a bad part. Try bench testing with a 12V battery.

How can i get rear a/c blower moter to come on

There is a relay that controls the motor. Have you checked it? The wiring diagram shows it is located in the "Bussed Electrical Center (BEC) 13-5". I'm not sure exactly where that is located, but it is probably under the hood, or the drivers side under the dash. I will check the manual to see if it shows where it is. When you say you have 12V, where did you measure that? If you are seeing 12V at the motor, and you have a good ground the motor has to run, or it's bad.

The heater fan just stopped...

Check fuse #14(10amp) located in fuse box under driver steering wheel behind the lower dash cover.
Check fuse#12(40amp) located in fuse box under hood.
Replace fuse(s) if any are blow.

If fuse are good.Check blower and transisto next.
Do steps 1-3 with turn key on
1. Unplug connector and check for 12v at the blue/white wire at the blower motor(2-NAT)
-if there's no voltage you might have a bad relay or open in the wire
-if there's about 12v, go to step 2
2.Plug connector for blower motor and unplug connector for blower transistor(4-NAT). Take a jumper wire and jump the blue/black wire to body ground.
-if blower does not run, replace blower motor
-if blower motor runs, go to step 3
3.check the black wire at(4-NAT) for good ground.
-if you have good ground, then replace blower motor transistor.
good luck
