It could be a bad amp. Those come with a factory amp usally right behind the radio. Hopefully you can find a used one from a scrap yard. Click Here to search in your area.

Sounds like the alternator is not charging the battery up.Charge battery for 8hrs at 2-4 amps slow charge then see if car starts if it does take a multimeter and check alternator while car is running voltage should be between 13-14.5 volts anything more or less then put a new alternator on it.

Radio automatic search

when your radio is on a certain channel the only thing it does is try to pick up that certain channel. say you go threw a tunnel or around the side of a hill. or in a residential neiborhood. the radio has a lot of interference from other things trying to pick up the same signal. there is nothing you can turn off or anything. as long as your getting a good sound on a certain channel leave it there,, when it don't pick up so good your loosing your signal and need to find a station that is closer to were you are. good-luck ray

Car Radio, Casette Player and CD Player not working

Hello Lei,

It sounds like the antenna has came loose from the back of the radio and the wiring harness is loose.

Make sure you have a good ground going to the radio, or this will cause a short and make the radio do strange things, the fact you sometimes get a signal tells me the radio is in working condition.
