This model uses any coolant that is marked Long life/Extended Life, all the coolant out there now are inbthis coolant class, of course the very best coolant to use is the factory coolant from the dealer.

Sounds like a weak fuel pump.Check your fuel pressure and if its within specs then replace fuel pump and fuel filter.I think it should be 44-54 psi.Get a repair manual to make sure you have the right specs.

How to replace the blower motor on durango dodge 2001

you need to get a service manual. this is very involved the dash, steering colunm,a/c all has
to be removed. if your pretty comfortable in removal of said componites & can remove/recover
freon figure about 10-12 hours time to repair.
are you sure you dont have a bad resistor??this is a very common failed part & ALOT EASIER
to replace. mounted on passenger toe board next to blower in housing 2 screws 8mm & plug

What kind of resistor do I get for my 2001 Dodge Durango 5.9L V8 engine? There is a 4-season one, and a regular resistor. Mine stopped working and I want to make sure I buy the correct one. I do have AC in...

its best to remove the fan resistor and take it with you when you purchase your new one this will insure you get the right one. the four season is a brand name by the way.

Looking for BCM for 2001 Dodge Durango - needs replacement

Your looking for the PCM? The computer module in the Durango that controls everything on the durango? If so, then the PCM is made for each Durango specifically. You cannot buy a used one or from a salvage yard. Each PCM is programmed with the VIN# from that Durango. So, any other PCM will not work. You have to go to a dealer and have them get a generic PCM (or autozone $240 if you trust them?) and it will cost with installation and reprogramming? $450.

Heat 2001 dodge durango

a bad heater core will just leak. it could leak alot. do you ever smell antifreeze? check the coolant level. it can get pretty low before it will overheat. the thermostat should be ok but there could be corrosion. when you had the water pump replaced was the cooling system flushed? 2001, its probably due for a flush. what coolant does it take? (green or orange)

I have a antifreeze leak on my 1998 dodge durango

you need a pressure test of your coolant system, wont cost you much for this but hopefully the problem isnt a cracked head or a gasket or it will be possibly expensive
