Can I recharge car battery with my stanley dps109 digital power station

charging voltage doesnt matter as much as charging current. what you need to know is that for a battery to charge properly it needs a feed of about 2.0amps over a period of 8-10hours (my recommendation) .
you need to establish whether your charger can provide a 12volt 2.0amp output.
take a look at this link, it very useful: Charging your car battery

either the alternator is not charging or the battery is not accepting a charge. Have the battery load tested for bad cells . check if there is a fuse in the charge circuit. Have the alternator bench tested for charge and rectifier problem

Alternator not charging

The starter would have nothing to do with the alternator not charging. You most likely need a new alternator and possibly a new battery. At the very least, the battery will need to be charged 100% before running with a new alternator.

Usually the battery wont take the charge so the light comes on to let you know you need a new one.

Were does it go? Also battery died can i just jump it or do i need to charge it?

Where does what go?

You need to know how old the battery is,first

Then you need to test the battery, before you
attempt to jump or charge it

I don't know why you expect someone on the
internet to know all about the battery history
& then tell you to change it.

If you said it went 8 years, then that would be
a good reason to install a new one.

Trying to recharge air conditioning. need to know info.

Large line is the suction. When charging freon always use the larger of the two lines. If there is a charging port at the accumulator(canister shaped device on/near firewall), use that one. Inside the accumulator is liquid. Good luck.

Car alternator to use as a battery charger only

It would be a very complicated way of charging a battery . Apart from having to have a power source to spin the alternaftor around you will also need a voltage control system (regulator) or else you will cook the battery. Unless you really know what you are doing i wouldn't recommend it

Surely it would be cheaper to get a regular battery charger.
