There are five locations for fuses on your vehicle.

2. Central Junction Box (Under left side of dash)

3. In-Line Fuse (In luggage compartment above left rear wheel well)

4. Relay Center Box No.1 (Under left side of dash)

I need to know where the fuses are located on a 2002 Mercury Sable.

Hello Amanda.

There are two separate fuse panels.

One is under the hood under a flip up black cover near the battery. This one is called the battery junction box.

The fuse panel inside the car is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. You will need to remove the panel cover below the steering column to access the fuses. This one is called the central junction box.

If you need further help in locating the panels, ask me here in a comment.
Thank you for using FixYa.

it could be one of the fuses in the under the hood fuse boxes, if not check the inside fuse panel and the flasher relay located under the dashboard panel driver side, refer to owners manual/ repair manual for exact location if you have difficulty locating it yourself
