Question about 1994 Volkswagen Jetta
Is it a problem with the security system of the car? Its been happening 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes when Im idling in D at a stop light, I take my foot off the brake and apply the gas and the car stalls.
Ive changed the switch above the brake peddle which I thought fixed the problem but 2 days later the same thing was happening, also one time the car wouldnt run and I noticed one of the tail lights were out so I replaced it and the car ran good for a week but then the same problems came back Any suggestions.
Your problems are unrelated to the stalling. I suspect you may have an air leak in one of the intake hoses. Look around the LH (gearbox side of the engine) for loose pipes. There are a myriad of (small)vacuum hoses which tend to disconnect themselves.
