How to replace 2007 Kia Sportage sun visor

I forced a small nail between the visor rod and the tube (or whatever) the rod goes into in the visor itself. That created enough tension or drag to hold the visor and keep it from drooping. The visor now works in all three positions.

Passenger sun visor falling down how to tighten up the visor?

IF there's no lite IN the visor, you can sometimes slide the visor off the shaft by moving it up and down while pushing it to the side with it NOT in the rest. Then if your lucky, squezze the pocket in a couple places with pliers to kinda crimp it. Then put it back. If you have lites on it, then you need a new one or put some velcro on the headliner and it to keep it up when not in use.

Driver side sun visor falls down

If you have anything on top of the visor, remove it. If there are any screws visible near the pivot rod, tighten them. You can remove the visor and slightly bend the pivot rod, inside the visor. You can just buy a new one and replace it yourself. It's only a few screws.

Sun visor falls down as I am driving

Look for a screw near where the arm comes down from the ceiling. Usually if you tighten this one or two screws it will stiffen up.

Some of these are not adjustable. Try a junk yard. They should not have too much trouble finding one your color and in good shape. It would not be very expensive.

Cadillac allante sun visors (2 dr convertible) keep falling down

GM uses bent metal clasps to secure the visor position. If you are mechanically inclined you can buy buy new clips for roughly $10 and install them yourself or do what I would do which is remove what is there is gently bend them back to an oval vs the circular shape they have now. There should be two philips head screws holding the assembly. Remove the two screws (per side) an slide the visor off the mount to reveal the metal clasp. Should you have any questions simply reply back and I will do my best to help.

Good Luck
