Sounds like you don't have enough 134A in it, get one of the kits with a gauge. They're not as accurate as an A/C mechanic's but close enough for government work. You're A/C shouldn't be cycling on and off with enough gass in it. Also can check this ARTICLE.

Good luck (remember rated this).

Try to check the installation of air duct air conditioner. there may be a leak but do not forget to check the bottom of the front cabin near dash.
Good luck

2003 jeep grand cherokee heater problem

Jeep Grand Cherokee is notorious for broken blend-air doors. This is the door inside the A/C-heater housing that switches the air from hot to cold. You must remove the dash to repair it.

Probably need the coolant recharged, take it to a shop that does AC, have them check for leaky seals when they recharge the system.

A/c does not work

Have a certified shop check the A/C system charge. More than likely it's low on freon, which will keep the A/C compressor from coming on. Its possible it could just need to be charged up. Be prepared though... it's possible the compressor itself could be bad, and that gets expensive. Good luck.
