Question about 2001 GMC Yukon
This is normal....the air conditioner compressor takes up to 15 horsepower from your engine, and under certain conditions, can make a noticeable difference.

No it is not normal. I have a 2001 Yukon that this happens too. It just began within the last year. And I have an 07 yukon that this does not happen to, even with lights on, radio blastin, and turning in circles at idle speed.
