Either the belt has aged and loosened so the tensioning roll vibrates or a bearing is worn out . In either case you must check it immediately and replace the used parts, it can fail at any moment and the damages can be very serious.

Try taking a waxy soap and holding it to your belts somtimes the wax will seal up cracks in the belts that sometime make whistling sounds..

if its near to 100000 miles please change your timing belt soon

I have a 91 eagle talon tsi fwd turbo stock and am working on my timing belt.. I seem to have all the marks lined up and the belt on and tight, but when I crank it over by hand it only turns about a...

It sure sounds like one of the timing marks was not lined up when you installed the belt. Did the belt break while the engine was running? If so then it is possible that one or more valves is bent and binding on a piston. Here is a picture of the tiing marks, You have to line up 4 different marks.

My 91 eagle talon is making this squealing noise only when i am stopped or barley pulling off. It will start at 2 rpm and stop when I hit 10-15 mph. I have 2 lights on one is the battery light and the...

The little house light means your coolant level is low. Dangerously low. The squeeling sound with the battery light coming on means that either your alternator is about to or has already died or your alternator belt needs to be tightened or replaced.

Take it into Autozone or O'Reilys or NAPA and have them to a free diagnostic check for you to see if the batter and alternator are ok. We can proceed from there.

Good luck!

91 eagle talon 2.0 going doun the road quit running, checked coil for spark nothing but i also checked fuel pump an nothing ecsept when u crank the engine shouldnt it pressurise before trying to start?

No spark and no fuel pressure? That sounds like a bad ECU. I would check the ignition coil, and the signal coming from the ECU to the ignition coil. Then I would check the voltage going to the fuel pump. Next, check the timing belt and make sure the correct timing is set.

When you turn your key to the ON position, you should hear your fuel pump pressurize for a few seconds.
